TESDA Officials Visit Foundation University to Strengthen Skills Development Partnership

Officers from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) recently made a courtesy visit to Foundation University on June 17, 2026.
TESDA Deputy Director General Vidal D. Villanueva III and TESDA Provincial Director Fletcher B. Gumahad were welcomed by President Arch. Victor Vicente "Dean" Sinco, Vice Chancellor for Academic Programs Dr. Romario P. Ybañez, Quality Assurance Director Glene May D. Lusares, and Kinaadman Team members John Ray R. Quitoy and Twinkle Mae O. Morte. The meeting reinforced the longstanding collaboration between FU and TESDA.
The visit provided a chance to acknowledge shared achievements and explore future initiatives. Both parties discussed plans to introduce new diploma programs and short courses designed to expand access to quality education and train high-level skills to prepare learners for modern workforce demands.
TESDA also expressed its gratitude for the university’s active participation and strong support during the recently concluded WorldSkills Competition in the region, highlighting Foundation University’s commitment to excellence in skills training.
Foundation University looks forward to more collaborations and projects with TESDA in advancing skills development and expanding educational opportunities for the community.
