Fulbright Philippines marked its 78th year in 2026, aligning with the broader #USPH80 and #Freedom250 celebrations. In light of these anniversaries, Fulbright unveiled a partnership with 22 Philippine universities that will host students, faculty, and researchers from the United States. First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos attended the signing, joined by more than 200 Filipino alumni and representatives from key partner organizations.
The Consortium for Study Abroad in the Philippines, or CSAP, is a central hub for cross-cultural and educational exchange between higher education institutions in the country. Administered by the Philippine American Educational Foundation, the Fulbright Commission in the Philippines, CSAP leverages decades of experience and has already facilitated exchanges for more than one thousand American students, scholars, and professionals across the country.
Under the partnership, Foundation University and the Philippine American Educational Foundation, the Fulbright Commission in the Philippines, will develop a bilateral relationship through mutual cooperation in academic research and testing engagements; collaborative study abroad programs and extension activities. The agreement creates new avenues for connecting with international peers, developing joint research and academic meetings between the two countries.
