Forty-four (44) graduates of the College of Law and Jurisprudence will be joining the ranks of the legal profession after successfully passing the 2025 Bar Examinations.
National data showed that 48.98 percent, or only 5,594 examinees, passed the grueling test which covered International Law, Mercantile and Taxation Laws, Civil Law, Labor Law and Social Legislation, Criminal Law, and Remedial Law, Legal Ethics and Legal Forms. A total of 13,193 applicants were recorded for this year’s examinations, with only 11,420 able to complete the three-day testing period across the designated testing centers.
The College of Law and Jurisprudence Dean Atty. Jesus Quevenco welcomed the result as a clear outcome of the program’s academic direction and the collective achievement of the department's concerted efforts. He credited the new lawyers' performance to the culture of strict academic discipline and the steady administrative support provided by the university throughout the bar review cycle.
The successful examinees are scheduled to take their oath as members of the Philippine Bar, and sign the Roll of Attorneys on February 6 of this year. This will complete their admission to the legal practice and affirm their entry into professional service.
The Foundation University community, together with faculty members, families, and peers, expressed pride and support for the new lawyers, recognizing the achievement as a significant milestone for the graduates and the institution’s continuing role in legal education.
