Engineered for Excellence: FU Topnotchers Spark National Pride in Industrial Engineering Exam

Foundation University once again earned national recognition after its graduates delivered an outstanding performance in the 16th Certified Industrial Engineer Examination held on April 26, 2026. The results reflect not only individual excellence but also the strength of the university’s academic formation in the field of industrial engineering.
At the center of this achievement are two topnotchers who brought pride to the university on a national scale. Florence Jay Nicor secured Top 4, while Al-Hanz Louie Dequito followed with a Top 12 ranking. Their performance placed them among the highest scorers in a competitive national examination, highlighting their mastery of the field.
Foundation University also celebrates the success of its additional passers, who contributed to the institution’s strong overall performance. Mae Ann Villalongja, Vincent Jaye Tinae, and Faith Roldan all successfully passed the board examination, further strengthening the university’s presence in the national results.
The 16th Certified Industrial Engineer Examination gathered 334 Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering graduates from across the country. Out of this number, 242 successfully passed, producing a national passing rate of 72.5%. Against this national benchmark, Foundation University delivered a significantly higher institutional passing rate of 83.33%.
This performance proves the effectiveness of a curriculum designed to develop both technical competence and professional readiness, preparing graduates for the demands of the engineering industry.
