The Master of Arts in Education, Major in English is a graduate program designed  for educators, language practitioners, and curriculum designers seeking advanced training in the teaching of English language and literature pursuant to DECS Order 76, s. 1993 entitled “Minimum Quantitative Standards for Collegiate Courses”. The program explores the intellectual, cultural, and pedagogical foundations of English education, with a focus on critical theory, linguistics, literary analysis, and language instruction. It emphasizes both disciplinary depth and instructional innovation, preparing graduates to navigate the shifting terrains of multilingual classrooms, globalized curricula, and contemporary communication.
